Comments Overview for Confluence

Every inline and page comment of a space or page in one table, open ones first, with filters, search and CSV export.

See every unresolved inline comment of a space or a page in one list, with highlighted text, author and age. Filter, search, jump to a comment, and download the list as CSV. Runs entirely on Atlassian.

What it does

  • Space view in the sidebar, page view in the byline
  • Inline comments with the highlighted text, plus page comments
  • Open, reopened and resolved status
  • Filters for status, author and age; full-text search
  • Jump to the comment on its page; CSV download

Where it appears

  • Space sidebar: Comments overview.
  • Page byline: Comments overview, for the comments of that page.

How to use it

  1. Open a space and choose Comments overview in the sidebar. The app reads the pages of the space and lists their comments.
  2. Use the filters and search to narrow the list.
  3. Click a comment to open it on its page, or download the list as CSV.
  4. On a single page, click Comments overview in the byline.

Permissions

The app runs on Atlassian’s Forge platform and declares no permission to contact outside servers. It asks for these scopes:

ScopeWhy
read:space:confluenceFind the pages of the space.
read:page:confluenceRead page titles and links.
read:comment:confluenceRead inline and page comments.
read:confluence-userShow author names instead of account ids.

Data and privacy

What the app stores
Nothing.
Personal data
None stored. Author names are shown on screen and in the CSV you download.
Logs
None; the app has no backend.
Where it lives
Nowhere outside your Atlassian site: the app works in your browser with your own permissions and keeps nothing.

Details for all apps are in the privacy policy.

Good to know

  • Up to 2,000 pages per space are read in one go; the screen says when a space has more.
  • Comments on blog posts are not included.

Questions

Can I resolve comments from the list?

Not yet. Click the comment to open it on its page and resolve it there.

Why does a colleague see a different list?

The list is read with each person’s own permissions, so restricted pages only appear for people who can open them.
